The storm surrounding Haim Mizrahi, the ultra-Orthodox who was beaten by police in Jerusalem, has not calmed down.
Mizrahi's brother, Rafael, was arrested today (Tuesday) while working at a kiosk in Jerusalem.
At the time of his arrest he was told he was suspected of theft, however Raphael denies.
Police told Israel Today that Rafael was arrested for questioning on suspicion of theft and has not yet been questioned.
Mizrahi, who has been suffering from severe trauma since he was arrested and beaten, turned anxiously in the last hour and begged with tears "that they will not beat him as they did me."
In a conversation with "Israel Today", he claims that the landlord told him that his brother did nothing.
"The police are not calm," says Haim and Rafael's mother, "why should I be afraid of the police?"
Haim Mizrahi, who was beaten by police, tells of his brother's arrest
As you may recall, Mizrahi was violently arrested several weeks ago whose whole sin was that he remarked to an undercover detective who was driving a car because he hit another vehicle.
Security cameras recorded the police officers violently attacking him and dragging him to a car.
Mizrahi later said that they also continued to beat him in the car, even though on the threshold everything was commented on by the police.
It will be recalled that a day later, Mizrahi was brought to court, where the judge released him unconditionally while passing harsh and unusual criticism of the conduct of the police.
