Landsberg – There is a lot going on at Bayern Bundesliga club TSV Landsberg.

During the winter break there was a lot of work going on behind the scenes.

The result is impressive: sporting director Jürgen Meissner has landed a number of young, highly talented newcomers for the team of player-coach duo Muriz Salemovic (33) and Mike Hutterer (31).

The most spectacular is certainly a "Kiwi" (as the inhabitants of the country in Oceania like to call themselves) from New Zealand: Stephanos Georgiou (mother is Greek) was a New Zealand junior international and came to Germany to become a professional.

Most recently, 19-year-old Georgiou stormed for Freiburger FC in the Oberliga. Now he wants to take the next step in Landsberg. "A likeable and intelligent guy," says Salemovic, who can look forward to another new attacking signing: Veron Dobruna, a 1.85 meter tall Kosovar, joins TSV Landsberg from regional league club SV Schalding-Heining. Also a highly interesting player with a lot of potential. The Straubinger played for Jahn Regensburg before his half-year guest appearance with the Lower Bavarians. There he was a regular in the U21s in the 2019/21 season and scored two goals in 25 Bayernliga games. Dobruna can be used flexibly on the offensive.

After Alexander Figler (19) from the FC Memmingen youth team and Sandro Caravetta (22) from FC Gundelfingen, both of whom will not join the team until the new season, Georgiou and Dobruna are the newcomers number three and four.

With the commitment of this quartet, the new concept, the planned new Landsberger style, is already clear: At TSV, they obviously want to focus more on young, talented players in the future.

So it cannot be ruled out that other strong talents will move to the Lech in the near future.
