There are new bus attendants in Zolling and Allershausen: The middle schools have used the offer of the Owacht Association.

Zolling

– New bus attendants were trained again at the Zolling middle school as a joint project with the Allershausen middle school and the Owacht Association. Because they want to ensure more safety on the school buses in the future, a total of 19 pupils voluntarily stayed longer at school on four afternoons. They received the “School Bus Attendant” certificate on Monday afternoon. The young people made an important contribution to countering misconduct in the buses, praised Zolling's mayor Helmut Priller. The headmaster of the Zolling middle school, Thomas Dittmeyer, emphasized that the situation in the school buses would improve enormously and that the bus drivers would also be relieved.

"Couldn't you put your satchel on the floor better?" That's what the new bus attendants asked a schoolboy who was blocking a seat on the bus with his backpack in a role play on Monday.

At first the bus attendants were ignored, but they achieved their goal with certainty and with the instruction that the next day they would speak to the school social worker Hans Kratz in Zollingen: the rules that should actually be observed on the school bus were respected.

Fair, exemplary behavior promotes personal skills and also gives a lot of self-confidence in everyday life, said Mayor Priller.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

With the help of the school bus attendants, students could drive without fear.

And there are good reasons to use what you have learned outside of bus transport during school hours.

“When peers are denounced, it is worth pointing out their misconduct to those who caused the dispute.

The project managers were from the middle school in Zolling, the youth workers Hans Kratzer and Clemens Schregerl from the middle school in Allershausen, and teachers Kerstin Dworsky and Valentin Hacker from Zolling.
