The Algerian health authorities recorded 2,521 new infections with the Corona virus, which is the highest daily death toll since the outbreak of the pandemic.
The Algerian Ministry of Health stated in a statement today that the total number of HIV infections rose to 241,406, while the total deaths resulting from it reached 6516, after 8 new deaths were recorded during the past 24 hours.
Yesterday, Algeria recorded 13 deaths and 2,215 cases of the virus.
