– Since October, attendance at Bavarian schools has been compulsory again.
Learning in distance classes is no longer allowed to fulfill compulsory schooling.
In order to be allowed to take part in classes, students must wear a mask and test themselves several times a week.
Eight children from four families dropped out of school
Some parents do not agree with these requirements, which is why some of the children are left at home from school or are completely de-registered.
The Ebersberg district office announced on Tuesday that eight children from four families had been withdrawn from school.
There are six elementary school students, one junior high school student and one high school student.
In all cases, an administrative procedure had been initiated, said Evelyn Schwaiger, spokeswoman for the district authority.
As part of these procedures, the legal guardians would be obliged by notification to allow their children to attend school again immediately.
"If you oppose this order, fines in the four-digit range threaten," it said.
No exemption from compulsory testing in schools
There are no exceptions to compulsory testing in schools.
Both students who have not been vaccinated against the corona virus and those who have received one, two or three vaccinations must be tested.
