Biden and European leaders discussed the crisis in Ukraine, thousands of American troops on alert

NATO has announced that it enhances preparedness and strengthens the values of Eastern Europe with ships and fighters, while Russia described it as "hysteria" Western response to the concentration of its forces at the border Ukraine.

Ministry of Defense of the United States announced that about 8,500 US troops in drive and await orders increased to be deployed in Eastern Europe if Russia invades Ukraine. Russia has deployed about one hundred thousand troops close to Ukraine, with the forces of the north, east and south. Russia denies it is planning an invasion, and it marks the Western responses as evidence that Russia is the goal, not responsible, aggression.

President of the United States Joe Biden, who is pushing for transatlantic unity, last night had a secure 80-minute video call from the White House situation room with some European leaders to discuss the crisis in Ukraine.

Biden told reporters "I had a very, very, very good meeting" with the European leaders, which included the leaders of Germany, France, Italy, Britain and Poland.

He said there was "complete agreement" between them.
