US President Joe Biden fell into the mistakes of his predecessor, Donald Trump, who was known for slandering reporters, as Biden was recently caught cursing a Fox News reporter on the sidelines of a press conference at the White House.
And American media reported today that Biden did not know that his speech was clearly audible when he uttered these words on the sidelines of a photo session at the White House at the conclusion of a meeting with media correspondents.
As the reporters were about to leave, the network's reporter asked Biden if inflation was a political burden before the midterms, to the latter, not knowing his microphone was still on, sarcastically, "It's a great advantage...more inflation" before hearing over the speakers swearing at him.
The White House, which has been rushing in the past to explain or retract any slip of the tongue uttered by Biden, was unable to manipulate what happened this time and confirmed what Biden had said, as the minutes of the session included the president's comment in full, which means that the phrase will find its way to be preserved in the official historical record.
This incident brings to mind Trump's biography with reporters at the White House, where he repeatedly insulted reporters and the American media in general.
