Some nurses in Regensburg do not want to be vaccinated – even if it might cost them their job.

The clinics are prepared.

Regensburg – They are the ones who have the most to do with the corona virus * professionally.

And yet there are some nurses who do not want to be vaccinated.

This could be a reason for termination from March 15th.

The Regensburg hospitals are prepared for this, as the

Mittelbayerische Zeitung

reports.

Compulsory vaccinations in Regensburg: Clinics react calmly to announced lawsuits

Some nurses react to this with a lawsuit that they are currently preparing – but according to the newspaper in the Regensburg* clinics, this is rather awaited.

"We are currently looking for a personal conversation with each of the affected employees in order to further clarify the advantages of the vaccination," explains Katja Rußwurm, spokeswoman for the university hospital.

They have a vaccination rate of almost 94 percent among their employees.

Should they lose those due to compulsory vaccination, the losses would be within the regular fluctuation.

They are used to that.

But despite many discussions, some nurses are on their side.

In an interview with the

Mittelbayerische Zeitung

, a 35-year-old nurse explains why he doesn't want to be vaccinated: "When the vaccinations were announced, I was a total hardliner and completely against it.

In the meantime I have softened and say: In 30 to 40 years, if I belong to the risk group, I will also get vaccinated!” He lacks confidence in politics and the media as well as in the “prevailing medical perspective”.

He is also currently preparing a lawsuit.

Protection of patients as the highest good

"I think it is immensely important that professional advice is given in order to address any fears and concerns and to eliminate them as far as possible," explains the Regensburg pediatrician Guido Judex.

Nevertheless, there is probably a small group that is not open to rational arguments and is not aware of the responsibility.

From his point of view it would be "a pity, but then perhaps unavoidable, to value the protection of patients as a higher good".

The pediatrician points out that everyone in his practice has been vaccinated.
