1,300 participants in Erding, 350 in Dorfen, 90 in Dorfen – the unannounced protest marches have again kept the police busy.

There were counter-demonstrations in Erding and in Dorfen.

Everything went according to the police as good as trouble-free.

Erding/Dorfen/Wartenberg

– Once again, people in Erding, Dorfen and Wartenberg gathered for Monday walks.

According to the Erding Police Inspectorate, 1,300 people met at Schrannenplatz in the district town; a week ago, 1,500 marched with them.

There were 90 on the Wartenberg market square (previous week 70).

According to the Dorfen police inspection, there were around 350 participants in the local protest march against corona measures (300).

None of these gatherings were registered.

The counter-demonstrations were different – people met in Erding as well as in Dorfen to protest against the Corona walks.

In Dorfen, about 40 participants took part in two counter-events in the city center.

The course was trouble-free, informs the police inspectorate Dorfen on request.

According to the description of the Erding Police Inspectorate, "supporting forces" "supervised" the walks in Erding and Wartenberg.

Loudspeaker announcements repeatedly pointed out that the minimum distance required was observed and accompanied and secured on a lift route specified by the assembly authority and the police.

Ensuring a peaceful process and avoiding traffic accidents or traffic hazards for the meeting participants were the top priority for the police forces.

After the end of the walk, there were occasional discussions between participants in the unregistered and the duly registered meeting in Erding.

Personal details were collected from a total of three people in connection with the meetings.

Due to the ban on gathering groups of more than ten people after the infection protection, the participants were asked to leave the place.

After returning to the respective starting point of the elevators, the peaceful meetings were ended.

"All assemblies are subject to the fundamental rights of freedom of assembly and freedom of expression," said the police in Erding.

The law enforcement officers would align the measures to be taken with the behavior of the participants in the meeting.

The Erding police, however, once again points out that such gatherings in the open air are to be reported.
