He pleaded guilty earlier and was sentenced in the West Kowloon Court today (25th), and Magistrate Chan Wai Man sentenced him to a 200-hour community service order.

Defendant Chan Chung Wai, 37 years old, Correctional Services Assistant II, was charged with committing indecent, obscene and abhorrent acts against public morals in the escalator near Exit A of MTR Tsuen Wan West Station on May 22, 2021, Put the camera under Woman X's skirt.

According to the case, at 9 am on the day of the crime, victim X was on the escalator near Exit A of Tsuen Wan West MTR Station when he suddenly felt a hard object hit his left thigh.

She then looked back and found that the defendant was holding a mobile phone to take pictures or filming under his skirt, and the mobile phone had the flash turned on.

Upon seeing this, X immediately confronted the defendant, but the defendant denied secretly photographing the bottom of the skirt and showed the photo album of the mobile phone to testify, but refused to let X view the video in the mobile phone.

The defendant tried to escape, but was stopped by passers-by, and the defendant used a mobile phone later.

The police arrived at the scene to investigate, but did not find any candid footage on the defendant's mobile phone, and the defendant remained silent under caution.
