According to an Ifop poll for the

published on Saturday evening, 37% of French people say they are satisfied with its action, against 41% a month ago.

This fall may seem brutal in a context where the president, unlike his predecessors, had never experienced such a period of stability.

His popularity has remained around 40% since the start of the health crisis, when his predecessors paid dearly for the slightest sentence or a badly accepted reform.

But, for the first time since the first confinement, the crisis does not benefit him.

He pays for the government's mess on the school, on the vaccination strategy,


and particularly the sentence on his

"desire to piss off the non-vaccinated".

Respondents deemed it

"disrespectful"

towards all French people.
