Franconia is looking for a new wine queen: Requirements are unusual

In Franconia they are looking for a new wine queen who will represent the winegrowers and their viticulture.
The requirements for an application are unusual.
Würzburg – After two years without a new wine queen in Franconia, the successor to incumbent Carolin Meyer is to be elected on April 20th.
"Young women from Franconian wine villages, from winemaking families, current and former wine princesses or young women who have completed specialist vocational training can now apply for the office of Franconian Wine Queen," said the winegrowing association on Tuesday in Würzburg *.

Franconia is looking for a new wine queen: woman must be unmarried
Interested parties must be at least 18 years old and unmarried.
You need a valid driver's license (class B) and should have specialist knowledge of viticulture, winemaking and marketing.
Applications are until February 10th, the election of the 54th Franconian Wine Queen is to take place in Würzburg.
The position is normally renewed every year.
Due to Corona * this was not possible in the past two years - and so Meyer from Castell (Kitzingen district) kept the crown.
The Wine Queen represents the winegrowers and their viticulture in Bavaria, Germany and abroad.
According to the association, she completes around 400 appointments in a normal year in office.
