Federal police officers at Frankfurt Airport were suspicious of two men during passport control.

Because two men with forged papers wanted to travel from Namibia to Paris via Frankfurt, police officers at Frankfurt Airport stopped the two travelers.

Frankfurt – During a check by the federal police at Frankfurt Airport *, two Cubans who had traveled illegally to Europe were caught on Monday (January 24th, 2022).

The two men had flown to Frankfurt from Windhoek in Namibia and wanted to travel on to Paris from here.

Before continuing to France, the two 33 and 34-year-old men were checked by federal police officers at Frankfurt Airport *, who were suspicious of passport control.

Both the Schengen visas and the Spanish entry stamps of the two Cuban citizens were forged in the Cuban passports presented, the police report.

Fake papers at Frankfurt Airport: the police catch two men

During the interrogation by the federal police officers, the two men stated that they had vacationed in Namibia and Russia.

As for the origin of the forged documents, they insisted that they were issued by the Spanish embassy in Havana.

Because of the forged papers, the federal police initiated an investigation into, among other things, the forgery of documents and the procurement of false official IDs.

Already on Tuesday (January 25, 2022) the two men were sent back to Havana via San Jose in Costa Rica.
