Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has expressed his country's readiness to negotiate directly with the United States over his country's nuclear file, provided the unjust sanctions are lifted.
Referring to the demands of the United States for direct dialogue with Tehran, Raisi said in a direct speech with the people on Iranian television: “This is not a new thing, and we have not conducted direct negotiations with it so far, but I now announce the possibility of direct negotiations with it if it wants to lift the unjust sanctions,” pointing out His country's foreign policy is based on dealing with all countries except the enemy.
Regarding his recent visit to Russia, Raisi announced that he discussed with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin many regional and international files, including the situation in Syria, indicating that his country is working to thwart the sanctions imposed on it by dealing with Russia and the countries of the region.
Regarding the negotiations held in Vienna, the Iranian president explained that his country will continue negotiations on its nuclear file without linking other files with it, saying: “Negotiations are not everything for us, and if the rest of the parties are ready to lift the sanctions, a good agreement can be reached.”
Raisi also mentioned that his government attaches great importance to its relations with neighboring countries.
