The Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces announced today the launch of a security operation to search for remnants of ISIS terrorists, south of Samarra, Salah al-Din Governorate.
"The third regiment in the Salah al-Din Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization and the security forces carried out a security operation south of Samarra, which included raids and searches within al-Mu'tasim sector, in search of the remnants of the terrorist organization ISIS and the destruction of its hideouts," the crowd's media said in a statement.
Yesterday, Iraqi forces killed four ISIS terrorists in Salah al-Din province in the center of the country.
