France has engaged in “in-depth consultation” with its European partners participating in the Takuba special forces group in Mali, while “the Malian junta has broken its commitments and is multiplying provocations”, declared Tuesday January 25 the Minister of the Armed Forces, Florence Parley.

The Minister took the opportunity to affirm her “solidarity with our Danish partners, whose deployment is done on a legal legal basis, contrary to what the Malian junta is asserting today”.
Bamako asked Denmark on Monday to “immediately” withdraw the hundred soldiers who recently arrived in the country in crisis to participate in the Takuba task force initiated by France.
