Meta, the parent company of Facebook, announced the development of a supercomputer powered by artificial intelligence, which is likely to be the "fastest in the world" that works with this technology.
"The company Meta has developed what we believe is the world's fastest artificial intelligence supercomputer," Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook, said on his Facebook page. "The experiments we demonstrate for Metaverse require massive computing power to process trillions of calculations per second."
He pointed out that the new technology, called "RSC", will allow new artificial intelligence models that can learn from trillions of examples and understand hundreds of languages.
It is likely that the development of the technology will be completed in the middle of this year, while no date has been set for its launch.
