The 21st season of the ZDF "Rosenheim Cops" is still running - but three stars are already confirming that they will be part of the next one.
Update from January 24, 2022:
From April, the cameras for the 22nd season of the ZDF "Rosenheim Cops" will be on.
This was also confirmed by "Stockl" star Marisa Burger in an interview with the OVB local newspaper.
"We'll start shooting again in April, then season 22," she says.
She gave the interview together with Karin Thaler, who plays the role of Marie Hofer in the series.
The fans could be happy "that we have the commitment for 22 new episodes that will be shot this year," says Thaler.
From the editions it can be concluded that both Burger and Hofer, who have both been there since the first season, will also be involved in the future 22 episodes.
And meet Sophie Melbinger (see below), whose continued employment with the "Rosenheim Cops" is also fixed.
Rosenheim Cops: First personal hammer for the main actors of the next season
Our article from January 21, 2022:
Munich - Just arrived and already gone?
That is actually the fate of a temporary inspector.
And as such, Birte Andresen (played by Sophie Melbinger) was also introduced to the "Rosenheim Cops".
The investigator from Hamburg represents Sven Hansen (Igor Jeftić), who takes care of his sick uncle in the far north.
Rosenheim Cops (ZDF): Sophie Melbinger will come back as a commissioner
But in an inconspicuous sentence in an
SZ
interview, Melbinger is now knocking out the personal hammer: she will also be there in the next 22nd season.
And she even quit her job for it!
“I gave notice of my permanent position in Heidelberg in March. The next season of the 'Rosenheim Cops' begins in April," says Melbinger. Most recently, she worked at the theater in Heidelberg, only shooting occasionally for the "Rosenheim Cops". But now it seems to be something solid. No wonder: Her colleague Dieter Fischer called her a "lucky stroke" when not even the name of the new investigator was public.
"I love the theater!", She says of the
SZ
.
“But in reality, theater is often more company than art.
Unfortunately.
The fees for actors are relatively low at a good 2100 euros gross starting salary, our contracts are limited, we have little artistic say in many matters.
My aspirations of the theater have often been disappointed and I think sometimes it's important to change your own routines in order to stay awake."
Rosenheim Cops (ZDF): Sophie Melbinger feels very comfortable
Sophie Melbinger has taken a liking to the "Rosenheim Cops".
These are "totally honest, in some respects much more honest than the theatre," she emphasizes.
“With the 'Rosenheim Cops' I knew exactly where I was being asked and I think it's nice to be entertaining.
I think it’s nice to make people smile or to distract them from everyday life, to give them a sense of security for a short time.”
There is initially no official confirmation of Melbinger's commitment.
And also no statement about the other investigative team of the coming season, which is to be filmed from spring.
Anton Stadler (Dieter Fischer) and Hansen should be part of it - maybe also Kilian Kaya (Baran Hêvî), who after his job as a temporary investigator in the 20th season can now return in the 21st.
And someone new too?!
It is also still unclear when the 22nd season will start - ZDF is currently broadcasting the 21st on Tuesdays.
After an ex-child star, a real Bavarian acting legend will soon be making a guest appearance.
