After the Oberhachinger main and finance committee spent three mornings going through the figures for this year's budget with drawn pencils, it was possible to save so much that no further borrowing will be necessary this year.
Nevertheless, the mountain of debt remains huge.
Oberhaching
- Despite Corona, 21.3 million euros could be collected from trade tax and thus more than 300,000 euros more than planned, but with income tax, at 12.4 million euros, around 130,000 euros less flowed into the coffers, as did land transfer tax , which was estimated at 600,000 euros and is now only 350,000 euros.
Ultimately, the year 2021 was able to be closed with a good plus of around five million euros in the administrative budget.
No further loans necessary
which allows room for maneuver for the future.
The municipality has invested 53 million euros in geothermal energy alone since it was founded, in Fröhlich's words "a long-term investment that shows responsibility for future generations and climate protection".

Land sold for nine million euros
When it comes to trade, Oberhaching relies on a wide range of companies in order to maintain income stability.
In addition, plots of land were sold in the commercial area for a total of 9 million euros, which not only increased household income significantly in the short term, but also means that additional trade tax can be expected in the coming years.
The councils agreed to leave the assessment rates for trade and property tax stable.
As Fröhlich reported, the expenses in the administrative budget are constantly increasing, which is due on the one hand to increased personnel costs, which are now at 16.2 million euros, 50 percent of which go to childcare, as well as increased building and operating expenses with 12 .4 million euros.
"In addition, we pay almost a million more district levy despite the same tax rate," said Mayor Stefan Schelle (CSU).
In figures, this is 18.2 million euros, plus 3.1 million euros in trade tax allocation.
For the revenue in the administrative budget, Oberhaching expects trade tax revenue of 22.3 million euros in 2022.
Three million euros for the completion of the energy center
This year's investments primarily include a contribution of almost three million euros to the Oberhaching municipal works for the completion of the energy center with redundant power plant in the commercial area.
In addition, one million euros will be made available for the planned mobility hub at the Deisenhofen S-Bahn station.
In addition, the municipality has 3.2 million euros available for possible land purchases.
