Opinion | Even before the battle began, Putin had already defeated the West in Ukraine Israel today

2022-01-25T17:03:19.451Z

Rest assured - you will not see an East-West war here • The US and European countries are preoccupied with domestic troubles and they will not shed blood for Ukraine • Yes, this is the world now - do not mess with the Russian bear

In the school of international relations (IHB) the concept of "game sum 0" is familiar. It is an expression of a world of yesteryear, a realistic world, in which - "If you are not with me, you are against me", To both sides that they have gained something, or that the truth may be at your point of view, like the bizarre notion of "truth for the moment."

In today's world, flooded with postmodernism, these expressions have been forgotten.

And under the lens of "neo-realism" which is a refined expression of the world of yesteryear, everything could have looked more rosy.

But this is, no.

In the end, and despite all the attempts to paint blurry pictures, here, when we look at the crisis between Russia and the United States - we seem to have really gone back.

This is probably the balance point of the world, and the natural state.

And everything that has happened in the 30 years since the collapse of the Soviet bloc, has been a passing episode, in which American hegemony has failed to change the world in a way that prevents it from returning to that, inter-power balance point.

We are now witnessing a "correction" in financial terms.

The West is not preparing to shed blood for Ukraine

And what do we actually have here?

Two powers, one from the East, one from the West, one continent in Central Europe, post-traumatic, it must be said, since World War II.

And in the eye of the storm a buffer state - Ukraine, and on it as if something will rise and fall.

But looking at Putin's conduct over the past 15 years and his consistent strategic trend - he is interested in returning Russia to the status of a superpower that is a counterweight to the melting American hegemony.

In fact, from his point of view - rightly so, since 1990 the West has brought into its lap one by one all the countries that belonged to the Soviet bloc west of the Ural Mountains.

And the Russian bear openly and openly feels how it is closed.

Putin acted decisively in the face of the uprisings, trying to produce a clear line from which the West would not gain a foothold.

Not in Abkhazia, nor in Georgia, not in the Baltic states, nor in the Crimea.

Russia will not let the West reach its doorstep.

The Russian leader also proved that he was not afraid of using force, and indeed, when he did so, those buffer states fell into his hands like a tower of cards.

And now Ukraine - for many months Putin has been concentrating forces around this buffer zone, and signaling its way to the West - "so far".

This signal is not at the same time and does not bode well for Washington.

Especially in Europe.

They are preoccupied with their troubles, and war for them is a hell they have no real desire to face.

In this context, Putin is nothing more than a nuisance.

Only while Putin maintains a stable strategy - the West is stuttering.

Spirits of war.

These days troops are recruited with an intensity that has not been seen for a long time prepared for a land move from the north and east of Ukraine.

The Russians are trained and ready, and the methods by which Putin will operate are varied - cyber, internal subversion, creating chaos, and finally, armored divisions are also rampant.

Rest assured - you will not see an East-West War here.

This war has already been decided - the West is not preparing to shed blood for Ukraine.

And even if there is only the scene of Russian armored divisions left in motion in front of a crunchy defender - and in all probability it will arrive, the West really has no desire nor ability to give the required counter.

This war ended even before it began.

Putin has won, and is now seeking the surrender agreement in a romantic combination of a victory picture.

Yes, it's the world of now, which is largely the world of yesteryear, the world of not messing with the Russian bear, and a culture that eats breakfast strategy.

Were we wrong?
