Police accompany Corona meeting in Starnberg

Around 220 people came together in Starnberg at an unregistered meeting in connection with the corona pandemic.

Starnberg – Task forces from the Starnberg Police Inspectorate were on site yesterday, Monday, when around 220 people met in Starnberg for a meeting related to the corona pandemic.
As reported by the police headquarters in Upper Bavaria North, numerous people met again in the city center for an unregistered meeting to express their opinion in connection with the corona pandemic.
The Starnberg Police Inspectorate accompanied the people with an “appropriate number of emergency services”.
They gathered around 6 p.m. at the church square and then moved through the city center in an elevator, according to the police.
49-year-old man is meeting leader
At the request of the officials, a 49-year-old man made himself available to chair the meeting, who from then on was in constant, close contact with the operations center.
The participants were repeatedly reminded by the police to observe the applicable distance rules.
According to the police, however, no irregularities were found.
At around 7:30 p.m., the leader of the meeting declared this over, after which the group of people broke up bit by bit.
