Sources confirmed that the delegations' discussions with the Hamas leadership focus on establishing the current lull and preventing escalation.

The security delegation stressed to the terrorist organizations that Egypt will continue to pressure Israel to promote further relief in favor of the Gaza Strip.

The delegation also promised to promote further relief at the Rafah crossing, in terms of the movement of people and goods.

According to Al-Ayyam, the Egyptian delegation met with senior Israeli officials to discuss ways to maintain calm.

It was also reported that in the coming days, various factors on the subject are also expected.

According to the report, the security delegation included several Egyptian intelligence officers and senior security officials.

The engineering delegation included engineers and experts in the rehabilitation industry.

It was also noted that the engineering delegation arrived to monitor the continuation of rehabilitation projects in the Gaza Strip.

As you may recall, Egypt has begun construction of "three cities" that each include hundreds of housing units, as part of the Gaza Strip rehabilitation project.
