The Russian Ministry of Finance has included the opposition Alexei Navalny on the list of organizations and individuals whose involvement in terrorism and extremist activities there is information.
According to the register of announcements of the Russian Ministry of Finance, a number of suspects in cases of terrorism and extremist activities, including Lyubov Sobol, lawyer Vyacheslav Gymadi, Georgy Alborov and Ruslan Shavdinov, were also included in the list.
According to the law, banks freeze the funds of the persons whose names are on this list and stop financial services in their regard.
Earlier this year, two other Navalny aides, Leonid Volkov and Ivan Zhdanov, were included in the Russian Finance Ministry's list of those accused of extremism and terrorism.
On September 28 of last year, the Russian Investigative Office opened a criminal case against Navalny and his accomplices who are abroad for creating an extremist group and participating in its activities, while Navalny is still being held in prison in Russia.
