The Russian Aerospace Corporation, Roscosmos, announced that it is in the process of using railway platforms to launch space rockets from a specially equipped railway train.
The Russian TASS news agency quoted a source in the space missile industry as saying: “The principle of operation of the railway platform is similar to what the Soviet military missiles used in the Barghuzzi space rocket system for the railway.” The source added that such a platform would be able to launch ultra-light missiles such as (Krylo-S). in a).
