A reconciliation tour
“The Fugees have a complex but powerful history. I didn't even know the 25th anniversary had arrived until someone pointed it out to me. I decided to honor this important project and give an example of reconciliation to the world,”
said Lauryn Hill, who founded the group in 1993. But four years later, in 1997, the trio disbanded due to relations conflict between the singer and her spouse Wyclef Jean.
The group then reformed episodically between 2004 and 2006 to perform in special concerts, tours and some television performances.
