No passerby helped the old man.

It was journalist and musician Michel Mompontet who reported the death of his friend, artist René Robert, a Franco-Swiss photographer who became known for his work on flamenco.
On the evening of Wednesday January 19, the octogenarian fell while he was moving near his home rue de Turbigo.
Victim of a blackout, he then spent the next nine hours lying on the ground, without anyone to help him.
It took until 6:30 a.m. for the firefighters, finally warned by a passer-by, a homeless person, to arrive on the scene and take charge of the victim "

".
In a state of advanced hypothermia, he was later pronounced dead at Cochin hospital.
