This is what Peter Dinklage thinks of "Snow White" starring Gal Gadot Israel today

The actor, who rises to a height of 1.35, goes against the live-action version of Disney's old legend, and expresses concern about stereotypical treatment of the dwarf characters in the film

Walt Disney Studios is working on a live-action version of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," and actor Peter Dinklage - who himself stands 1.35 meters tall - does not like the idea, to say the least.

The 52-year-old "Game of Thrones" star was interviewed yesterday (Monday) for a podcast by comedian Mark Maroon to promote his new film "Cyrano" - in which he plays Cyrano de Bergerac - and expressed great resentment over the remake of the children's story he directed Of Mark Webb ("The Amazing Spider-Man") and starring Rachel Zagler ("The Story of the Suburbs") as Snow White.

Gal Gadot is expected to play the evil witch, and according to recent reports is in advanced negotiations.

"Stop for a moment and take a look at what you're doing," Dinklage begged Disney officials, who plan to bring Snow White back to the big screen next year.

"On the one hand you are progressive and enlightened (referring to the fact that Disney cast for the lead role an actress of Latin descent with a less" snowy "skin color - DP), on the other hand you tell this twisted story about seven dwarfs living together in a cave.

What the hell is going on with you?

I have not done enough to promote and raise awareness of this issue?

Maybe I'm just not loud enough, "he added passionately.

In other words, the short actor objected to the stereotypical way, and some would say contemptuous, in which the dwarves are shown in the original tale, but it should be noted that Disney has not yet revealed significant details about the new film and the way the dwarves will be incorporated into it.

Either way, Dinklage summed up his remarks in a slightly more optimistic tone: "But if you give Snow White's story a cool progressive twist, then go ahead, I'm in. Let's do it."

Were we wrong?
