Three men were indicted for murder and imprisoned in Nice, a month after the death of a young man shot dead in a city of the city on Christmas night, the prosecution told AFP.

The three defendants were indicted and placed in detention for "

Two of these respondents, known to the courts and aged in their twenties, are from Marseille, the third from Nice.
None of the defendants admitted their participation in the Christmas night homicide, only one of them admitted to having been present at the scene, the magistrate said.
“Altercation with the inhabitants of the district”
According to the first elements of the investigation revealed by the Nice prosecutor, the first shots were fired on December 20 in a district of the city, without causing any victims, triggering an investigation by the judicial police. Then, on December 25, three individuals had entered a city in the north of the commune, in a vehicle, before leaving and continuing on foot.

The three men indicted and imprisoned were arrested on Wednesday, in the center of Nice.
During this vast operation, a young man in his twenties had been fatally shot by a policeman, in accidental conditions according to him.
This policeman, police commander in the research and intervention brigade (BRI) of the Nice judicial police, was indicted for manslaughter on Friday and placed under strict judicial control.
