Summary.
The general public first remembers her sensational entry into comedy, from the end of the 1980s. Valérie Lemercier is not even 30 years old, and she explodes by perfectly embodying a caricature of the bourgeois, sometimes eccentric in the series "Palace", sometimes stuck in the cult film "The Visitors".
Since then, she has notably won 3 Molières, played in around thirty films, and directed six feature films including "Palais Royal", or more recently "Aline", a biopic largely inspired by the life of Céline Dion.
But who really is Valérie Lemercier?
Last fall, the 57-year-old artist gave herself up as rarely in "Singulière Valérie", broadcast on TMC.
The author of this documentary, Nicolas Perge, traces the career of Valérie Lemercier for Code source alongside Catherine Balle, film journalist at Le Parisien.
