Whether summer or winter, spring or autumn: The Blomberg attracts many visitors in every season with its various offers.

Therefore, new toilet facilities are now being planned.

Wackersberg

– New toilets are to be built at the Blomberg summit station.

Hannes Zintel, operator of the Blombergbahn, announced this last November.

The project is now taking a step forward.

"The responsible construction company said that the submission plan for the building permit should be completed in February," says Zintel when asked.

Zintel: Waiting for input plan

"If that's the case, we can present the plan to the Wackersberg municipal council in March," he explains.

“After that, the whole thing will go to the district office,” he says.

"Unfortunately, I don't know how long the German bureaucracy will then take." "The system was not least a wish of the city of Bad Tölz and the municipality of Wackersberg for many years, which we at Blombergbahn are now complying with," says Zintel.

This is confirmed by the mayor of Tölz, Ingo Mehner.

He expects construction to begin this year.

2022: Bad Tölz wants to develop water and waste water

In addition, it is planned that the city will carry out the water and sewage development of the Blomberg this year, according to Mehner. This is possible starting from the Blomberghaus spring. "The city is already in talks with the residents, and there is a subsidy commitment from the Weilheim water management office." The money comes from the "mountain hut special program". "With this water supply, consumers can in future be supplied with drinking water, which no longer has to be treated before consumption, instead of with pipe water, as was previously the case," explains Mehner. The access road is planned in the existing path. In this way, the intervention remains minimal.
