The Tel Aviv District Prosecution Unit of the Israel Police today (Wednesday) filed a very serious indictment against a young resident of the city who physically and mentally abused his partner who is in the first months of pregnancy.
The investigation opened about two weeks ago with a report of a man's violent incident against his partner in the apartment where the two lived in Tel Aviv. The police arrived at the house, arrested the man and drove the woman to the Lev Tel Aviv police station.
The investigation revealed that following an argument that broke out between the two, the suspect attacked the complainant, slapped her in the face, punched her in the eye, dragged her by the hair of her head, threatened her with a slaughter motion while holding his hand with a knife and beat her with the knife blade, saying: You, you will not be with anyone else. "
The suspect later spat into his partner's mouth and threatened to murder her.
For long, long hours, the suspect slapped the complainant on the dresser and on the wall and continued to punch her, forcing her to inhale laughing gas and threatening her with a knife: "I will do you a miscarriage, you will not carry my child."
Next, the defendant placed a pillow on his partner’s face and sat on it until the complainant began to butterfly from lack of air.
Only after long hours, the complainant was able to take advantage of the fact that the suspect fell asleep and quickly fled from the apartment to the building lobby.
Tel Aviv Heart Station police located and arrested the suspect about two weeks ago and since then his detention has been extended from time to time. Today, as stated, a serious indictment was filed against him and a request for detention until the end of the legal proceedings against him.
