Großweil
- The renovation and modernization of the Großweiler Gasthof zur Loisach with the adjoining hall is making significant progress.
The project started in September 2021.
The costs for this were included in the municipal budget, although the budget earmarked for this was not exhausted.
A detailed list is not yet available.
The municipality of Großweil bought the entire property almost a year ago in March 2021 for around one million euros with the intention of preserving the inn and hotel for the village and not letting them become the subject of speculation.
150 hours done
In the long term, the construction of a new event hall is planned as part of the village renewal.
But that is still in the distant future, there is no concrete time frame for it yet.

Another phase includes the renovation and modernization of the inn and the hotel with its 25 rooms.
Three local companies have already been commissioned to bring the building and the rooms up to the required level of fire protection in accordance with the requirements and regulations.
"For the next phase, a planner was hired to develop and propose ideas and concepts for modernization," explains City Hall boss Bauer.
"The proposals will then be presented and discussed at a separate municipal council meeting."
"The budget for this is not freely available."
Guest rooms and kitchen will be renovated
The modernization mainly affects the guest rooms and the kitchen, the dining room is relatively new and in acceptable condition.
"The time frame is probably one and a half years," says Bauer.
"At the same time, there will be an official tender to find a suitable tenant for the catering and hotel business."
The gastronomic orientation and the hotel concept have not yet been determined.
"This then depends on the final tenant, who will be selected by the municipal council based on the applications received," explains the head of the town hall.
The hotel will then be the only hotel with gastronomy in the municipality of Großweil, in addition to a manageable range of guest rooms and holiday apartments.
