The corona virus continues to take the lives of many people.

For some "corona deniers", the loss of loved ones leads to a change of heart.

Munich – The world has been struggling with the pandemic for 2 years now.

The number of new infections and deaths is constantly increasing.

Although the course of the omicron mutation, which is now prevalent in many places, is apparently much milder, deaths cannot be prevented, even according to virologists.

So far, the corona virus has killed around 117,000 people in Germany.

Every death, especially among young people, shows how real the danger posed by the virus is.

Apparently some corona deniers, who change their attitude after the loss of relatives, also understand this.

Corona denier is vaccinated for the first time after the death of her cousin - "Covid-19 really exists"

This is what happened to Sevdije B., who was given her first vaccination against the virus in a vaccination station in Stuttgart.

Her cousin fell victim to the corona virus.

The incident provided food for thought for her.

The next day she went to the vaccination center and got vaccinated.

"Unfortunately, my cousin died of Covid yesterday," she explained on ZDF.

This apparently initiated her change of heart.

Her statements suggest that she probably did not believe in the virus before.

It was only after her cousin died that she thought, "It's really true that there is Covid-19".

Then she decided: "Now I have to take this".

A short excerpt from the ZDF report shows how Sevdije B. is vaccinated by an employee of the Stuttgart vaccination center.

She will then receive her documents.

Corona vaccination: Stuttgart doctor advocates the operation of vaccination stations even when demand is low

There is not much going on in the vaccination station where Sevdije B. was vaccinated, but the operators still demand that the station be kept open.

"The benefits of vaccination for the individual and for society are huge," Prof. Jan Steffen Jürgensen, CEO of the Stuttgart Clinic, told ZDF.

That's why it's worthwhile "certainly to have slightly over-equipped capacities," says Jürgensen.

This might actually come in handy in the future.

Due to the possible fourth vaccination, the demand for vaccination and thus vaccination stations could soon increase drastically again.

In addition, the federal-state summit yesterday (January 24) called for vaccinations or boosters again.

After all, enough capacity is needed to implement the campaign.
