Dachau with the highest incidence value in all of Bavaria - omicron predominant

In the week from January 17th to 23rd, a total of 2,518 new infections were reported to the Dachau health department.

According to the Dachau health department, the incidence in the district on Tuesday, January 25, was 1,790.3 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days;
this was the highest incidence value in all of Bavaria on that day.
In the coming days, the district office expects a further increase.
In Germany (894.3) and throughout Bavaria (984.1), the incidence is also increasing significantly, although not as much as in the Munich region.
In the week from January 17th to 23rd, a total of 2,518 new infections were reported to the Dachau health department.
The number of cases has doubled again compared to the previous week.
The incidences are particularly high in children and young adults.
The prioritization of the PCR tests is also currently being discussed.
There is currently no change in the procedure here.
Citizens with a positive rapid test carry out a PCR test at a test center or with their family doctor to clarify the result.
There are currently 18 corona patients in the Helios-Amper-Klinikum Dachau, four of them in the intensive care unit.
