In order to get their loot, several thieves in Lichtenau did not shy away from an explosion and blew up an ATM.

The police are looking for the perpetrators.

Lichtenau – In Lichtenau (Ansbach district), several unknown perpetrators blew up the ATM of a VR bank* on Wednesday, January 26th.

According to the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office, explosives were used to destroy the ATM.

The thieves managed to escape, presumably in a black Audi towards the A6 motorway.

It is not yet known if and how much money was stolen.
