The tax office in Ebersberg is already preparing: Because of the partial relocation of the tax authority to Grafing, things will “get stuck” in February, according to Alexander Ulbricht, head of the office.

There are restrictions on accessibility.

- Due to the partial relocation of the Ebersberg tax office to Grafing, significant relocation measures to Grafing and within the tax office will have to take place in February.

The authorities have now announced this.

This will lead to considerable limitations in accessibility, since the telephone system will also have to be converted in this context.

Communication with the tax office via Elster or by letter is not affected.

Authorities ask for your understanding

"I ask the citizens for their understanding if there will be a little snag in the next few weeks, the files and documents to be moved are not exactly small," Alexander Ulbricht, Head of Office, pleads for understanding, "for the citizens there will be changes after the move But then nothing, the service center remains at the usual main location of the tax office in Ebersberg.”

The Ebersberg tax office, with almost 150 employees, has so far been housed in several buildings on Schlossplatz and Eichthalstraße in Ebersberg. Due to the additional space requirement and the condition of the entire property on Schlossplatz, suitable accommodation has been sought for some time. With the rental of the building, which is centrally located on the market square in Grafing, around a third of the employees can initially move to modern, renovated offices in the listed Wildbräu building. From March 2022, the wage tax employer office, the enforcement office and large parts of the general assessment office will start their work here.
