: Ofer survived hypothermia in the Golani Junction area thanks to the vigilance of a citizen who found him abandoned by his mother, and reported to the Nature and Parks Authority.
Amit Dolev, Northern District Ecologist at the Nature and Parks Authority: "A resident found Ofer among the olive groves in the open area. The citizen called the inspectors to collect the Ofer. "He was taken to the collection point. A camera was also set up to see if the mother would take care of him again."

After several hours of the mother not being observed, Dr. Dolev arrived at the scene at 5:30 p.m.
"In order not to cause hypothermia, we decided, after providing medical treatment, to transfer it through the Nature and Parks Authority's Animal Bollens volunteers for treatment at the Nature and Parks Authority's Wildlife Hospital and the safari."
