A teacher from Bavaria intentionally contracted the corona virus to avoid vaccination.

Now she tells about the course of events.

And their motives.

– The corona pandemic has had the world under control for two years, and the first vaccines came onto the market after about a year.

Anyone who does not want to be vaccinated - for whatever reason - has a hard time, because many things, such as going to a restaurant or the theater, are only possible according to the so-called 2G rule.

So you either have to be vaccinated against the virus or have recovered from it.

3G applies in many other areas, which means that those who have not been vaccinated must be tested before they are allowed access.

In addition to fake vaccination certificates, which were soon in circulation, there are said to have been so-called “Leberkäs parties”, especially in southern Bavaria, at which healthy people intentionally became infected with the virus in order to maintain their convalescent status and to avoid vaccination for the time being.

A fact that made many people shake their heads.

But now a teacher from southern Bavaria has dared to take the step and spoke to

about the reasons why she actually intentionally contracted the virus. The 53-year-old, who wants to remain anonymous, and her partner said they were intentionally infected "to put an end to social pressure". After the successful transmission of the virus, they also invited unvaccinated acquaintances and relatives to their home, who also became infected voluntarily.

The woman says the treatment of the unvaccinated has made her feel more and more like a second-class citizen.

In freezing temperatures, she would have had to wait in front of the school building until her negative test result was there.

Later she had herself tested in a pharmacy, but at work everyone knew that she was not vaccinated.

This has led to exclusions in everyday school life.

As a reason for her refusal to be vaccinated, the woman cites her lack of confidence in the vaccines.

According to the teacher, these have not been adequately researched.

But it was less the exclusions in public life that affected her, according to the 53-year-old, but more the pressure in the private sphere. Although she followed all hygiene rules. A friend even insulted her when her sister fell ill with Covid. When she asked a colleague to bring her a book from the library, to which she no longer had access as she was not vaccinated, so that she could read something to her students, she only replied that that was the end of it.

The emergence of the vaccination debate finally forced her to react, explains the 53-year-old. Since she considered it immoral and wrong to buy a fake vaccination card, she decided to intentionally get infected. After this did not work by simply increasing her social contacts, she decided to drive to a woman who was infected with the virus in order to specifically infect herself. This woman had also previously been infected on purpose. The teacher and her friend drove to the woman and stuck a cotton swab in her nose that she had previously contaminated with pathogens. Then they let themselves be "coughed on". She didn't "want to leave anything to chance".

Last resort infection: teacher from Bavaria experiences Covid19 disease - and calls it the "last resort"

The infection actually worked.

The 53-year-old, who describes herself as healthy and athletic, went into isolation with her partner immediately after visiting the infected woman so as not to endanger anyone.

She felt really bad for two days, then it got better.

From the fourth day, she finally received visits from people who also wanted to be infected, the youngest was only 15. None of the infected had suffered a severe course.

She herself is now “top fit” again.

Ultimately, according to the woman, she does not regret her actions.

"It was the last resort," she says.

She and her infected visits are neither conspiracy theorists nor legal-political oriented.

She believes that many more people would have chosen the same path as her than one would assume.

However, she does not yet know how she will deal with the shortening of the convalescent status.

However, she hopes that the exclusion of the unvaccinated will have eased by then to such an extent that she will not have to become infected again.

She wishes that the unvaccinated would be left "just alone" in the future.
