The magistrate today (26th) ruled that Lin Zhuoting was guilty of all crimes.
Defendant Lam Cheuk-ting (43) was charged with disclosing to the public on 30 December 2019, 21 January 2020 and 16 July 2020, knowing or suspecting that there was an ongoing investigation involving an offence under the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance. The identity of the person being checked, namely You Naiqiang, involved a violation of Article 30 of the Ordinance.

The prosecution case alleges that on July 23, 2019, the ICAC launched an investigation into whether any police officers were involved in misconduct in the 721 incident.
