Iran reiterated its right to obtain real and comprehensive guarantees during its negotiations with the "four plus one" group in Vienna, stressing the need to abolish the embargo imposed on it.
Fars news agency quoted Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian as saying today during the meeting of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran: Negotiations with the member states of the "four plus one" group are proceeding well and there has been good progress so far, but there are still outstanding issues.
He added: Iran has not yet conducted any direct negotiations with the United States, stressing Iran's desire to obtain real and comprehensive guarantees during the negotiations and to abolish the embargo imposed on it.
Khatibzadeh confirmed earlier that Iran's continuation of the Vienna negotiations aims to reach a sustainable agreement.
