In a face-to-face interview with Fernando del Rincón, the president of Peru, Pedro Castillo, avoids commenting on the regimes of Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua, alleging respect for the autonomy of each country.
He assures that he would not like Peru to become one of those models.
When asked to define his ideology, he describes himself as "a provincial, I am an Andean teacher who embraces the needs of this country."
