Kowloon bus factory in Tseung Kwan O sinks, two buses fall into a large hole, the front of the car hangs up in the air

A rare accident occurred in Tseung Kwan O.

At about 5 a.m., the authorities received a report from a KMB staff member that the Kowloon Bus Tseung Kwan O Depot on Wan Lung Road had a subsidence accident and two buses in the factory fell into a hole on the ground.

Fire and ambulance rushed to the scene and initially learned that no one was injured, but found that one of the double-decker buses had two axles at the rear sunk into the ground, the front of the car was lifted as if "taking off", and the front wheel was hanging in the air; the other was parked. The double-decker bus next to it fell into the hole.

The fire department is investigating whether there is further danger, whether the scene is safe, and how to safely lift the bus involved.

Police were present to assist in the investigation of the incident.
