HSBC: Bank suspension in all but some branches from next Saturday

HSBC pointed out that in response to changes in the novel coronavirus epidemic, HSBC will further adjust the service hours of retail banking branches.

From 5 February (Saturday), all branches (except the branches listed below) will be closed on Saturdays until further notice.

Branches that remain open on Saturdays will be open from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.

The precautionary measures are aimed at safeguarding the health and safety of our staff and customers and continue to provide banking services to our customers.

The bank recommends customers to use mobile banking, online banking, phone banking or the nearest self-service banking terminal to handle banking transactions 24 hours a day.

Bank of China: Branch operating hours remain at 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

BOCHK would like to inform customers and members of the public that due to the need for epidemic prevention work, except for the special arrangements of the following branches, branches will be closed on three Saturdays after Chinese New Year (ie 5th, 12th and 19th February).

The bank's branches will remain open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm from Monday to Friday.

The cut-off time of the cheque deposit machine will remain at 4:00 pm from Monday to Friday. If the cheque is deposited after the cut-off time, it will be processed on the next settlement day.

BOC also pointed out that customers can also use the services through electronic channels such as 24-hour self-service banking centers, ATMs, mobile phones, online and telephone banking.

Standard Chartered: Pay close attention to the situation and adjust branch business hours in a timely manner

Standard Chartered pointed out that due to the continuous changes in the novel coronavirus situation in Hong Kong, in order to protect the health of customers and employees and continue to provide banking services to the public, it announced that most of the All branches, Priority Banking Centre and Priority Private Banking Centre will be temporarily closed.

The bank pointed out that customers can still use banking services through the mobile app SC Mobile, internet banking, phone banking or self-service teller machines, and will continue to closely monitor the situation and adjust branch business arrangements in a timely manner.

Hang Seng: 9 ground-level branches to provide services for 3 consecutive Saturdays

Hang Seng pointed out that in response to the development of the epidemic, starting from February 5 (Saturday), the bank will only maintain services at 9 ground-level branches every Saturday (see the table below for details).

Other ground level branches and MTR station offices will be closed on Saturday until further notice.

Hang Seng pointed out that the relevant branches will be open as usual from Monday to Friday to continue to provide services to customers.
