Teachers will be able to benefit from ten free self-tests per month.
A government decree was published in the Official Journal last weekend, authorizing "
the free dispensation
" of ten self-tests per person per month to National Education personnel working in nursery, primary, middle and high school, as well as "
in the accommodation, reception and extracurricular activities associated with it

These free self-tests, paid for by Health Insurance, are distributed in pharmacies, on presentation of "
an identity document and a nominative certificate of issue given by the employer
", specifies the decree signed by the Minister. Health Olivier Véran.
It is possible from this month of January, for the personnel concerned, to obtain two self-tests, reports France Bleu.
The government justifies this decision by “
the high level of circulation of the Omicron variant of the SARS-COV-2 virus
”, which “
imposes particular vigilance in the school environment while avoiding, as much as possible, class closures
”, perhaps. we read in the decree.
The decree also provides for the free distribution of three self-tests per student declared contact case at school, college or high school.
The health protocol in schools specifies that contact case students must now undergo three self-tests (on D0, D+2 and D+4).
