Zoo Atlanta has announced the death of Ozzie, the world's oldest male gorilla, at the age of 61.
Through a statement, the center reported that the care teams had been treating him, when in the last 24 hours he presented symptoms that included facial swelling, weakness and inability to eat or drink.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
