A great oral… right.
Alliance, one of the main police unions, is organizing a big oral on February 2 to which the presidential candidates have been invited, announced Wednesday its general delegate Frédéric Lagache.
Only Valérie Pécresse (LR), Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin, who will represent putative LREM candidate Emmanuel Macron, Éric Zemmour (Reconquest!), and Marine Le Pen (RN) have given their consent to participate in the exercise.
PS candidate Anne Hidalgo and PCF candidate Fabien Roussel declined the invitation and Yannick Jadot (EELV) did not respond.
As for Jean-Luc Mélenchon (La France insoumise), Alliance did not invite him for reasons that the secretary general of Alliance Fabien Vanhemelryck will detail next Wednesday.
First a screening of "Bac Nord"
At the "Club de l'Étoile", which will host this event, around a hundred Alliance officials from all over France will attend the screening of the film "Bac Nord" by Guillaume Roussel, which tells about aspects of the daily life of police officers in the neighborhoods North of Marseilles. At the end of the screening, the candidates will come one by one in front of the audience. They will each have three quarters of an hour to, on the one hand, present their presidential program for security and, on the other hand, answer 5 questions.
Valérie Pécresse will enter the stage first, followed by Gérald Darmanin, Éric Zemmour and Marine Le Pen.
“Candidates should not cross paths.
Everyone, once their performance has been completed, must answer questions from the press outside, ”explained Frédéric Lagache.
He further clarified that they would be provided with additional questions in writing which the candidates would have to answer.
