She is particularly fond of corgis.
Now there is surprising news: A new four-legged friend is said to be at the Queen's side - but it is not a Corgi.

The Queen recently became the proud owner of a new dog.
But the English monarch's new companion isn't a corgi, it's a cocker spaniel.

information, it should be a dog lady who has won several prizes.
Lissy, as the dog was christened in honor of his owner, was the winner of the Kennel Club Cocker Spaniel Championships.

, the bitch prevailed against 38 competitors at the championships.
Queen Elizabeth: Dogs have always been by her side
The Queen is known for her love for animals.
But she was particularly taken with the corgis.
The English monarch is said to have owned more than 30 such dogs during her reign.

, she is said to have received her first corgi "Susan" for her 18th birthday.
She even took the animal with her on her honeymoon with her husband Prince Philip, who died in 2021.
It's all the more surprising that this time she didn't choose a corgi.

Unfortunately, the English monarch had to mourn several of her loyal companions in the past.

The Queen had received Fergus along with another dog just a few months earlier from her son Prince Andrew.
