The “Qasd” militia, backed by the American occupation forces, raided the Al-Zohour and Ghweran neighborhoods and a number of villages near the city of Al-Hasakah under the pretext of searching for fugitives from the Industrial Secondary Prison and kidnapped a number of civilians.
Civil sources in Ghweran neighborhood told SANA reporter that groups of the “Qasd militia” raided the western Ghweran neighborhood under the pretext of searching for fugitives from the Industrial Secondary Prison and broke into homes and kidnapped a number of men and young men and took them to an unknown destination.
The sources indicated that the raid campaigns carried out by the US-backed militia expanded towards the villages located on the eastern and southeastern sides of the prison, in addition to a number of villages in the western countryside and kidnapped a number of other citizens.
The sources pointed out that "the raid campaign was accompanied by the militia's tightening of inspection procedures at its checkpoints, in addition to its attempt to close the neighborhood and impose a total curfew in the area."
The American occupation forces bombed buildings and facilities in the vicinity of the Industrial Secondary Prison during the past few days under the pretext of pursuing fugitives from the Industrial Secondary Prison in the Ghweran neighborhood in the city of Hasaka, including the buildings of the Faculty of Economics, civil engineering terraces, the headquarters of the university branch building, the garage of vehicles and the Institute of Technical Monitors, in addition to a number of homes of residents in the neighborhoods Neighboring.
