State subsidy for rental apartments in Pöcking

The government of Upper Bavaria pays a subsidy for the modernization of living space.

Pöcking - The municipality of Pöcking in the district of Starnberg is planning the modernization of twelve existing rental apartments at Kinibauerweg 6 to 8 and the expansion of a rental apartment in the basement.
For this purpose, the government of Upper Bavaria has approved state subsidies in the amount of 664,800 euros.
These are paid out in full as grants.
According to a press release from the government of Upper Bavaria, as part of the energetic modernization, full thermal insulation is to be attached to the facade, new windows including sun protection are to be installed and the old oil heating system is to be replaced by an energy-saving heating system.
In addition, general fire protection measures are carried out and the electrical systems are renewed.
The project aims to create affordable housing for low-income households.
The estimated total costs amount to around 2.5 million euros.
A total of 150 million euros in grants from the government of Upper Bavaria
In 2021, the government of Upper Bavaria had 150 million euros available for grants from funds from the Free State of Bavaria and loans from the Landesbodenkreditanstalt in the municipal housing subsidy program.
The funding program, which was launched at the beginning of 2016, supports cities and municipalities in creating appropriate and affordable housing.
Approval office for social housing promotion
The government of Upper Bavaria is the approval body for social housing promotion.
It uses the funds allocated by the Bavarian Ministry of Building for the promotion of rental apartments and forwards the funds earmarked for the promotion of owner-occupied living space to the responsible district administration authorities according to the reported need.
