The social movement in favor of a salary increase promises to be followed on the SNCF network. The RER B interconnection will not be as

If you can, it's now or never to opt for telework, this Thursday.

Due to a strike call, several RER and Transilien lines are expected to be disrupted.

According to the forecasts available on the site of the operator of the SNCF lines of the Ile-de-France, this Wednesday evening at 5 p.m., lines A and B of the RER will be the most affected.

On the RATP side, the metro will operate normally, but the bus networks and the tram could be impacted.

At the control room, an “almost normal” service is announced.

Only one RER B out of three on the northern part

It is advisable to check your itinerary in advance on Transilien.com.

On the RER A, three out of four trains are planned.

The situation will be more degraded on the RER B, where two out of three trains will run all day on the southern part and one out of three trains on the northern part of the line.

Please note: all trains will end at the Gare du Nord, where you will have to change platforms to continue your journey.

The Plus de trains user association warned on Tuesday evening of a possible hassle in sight at the Gare du Nord, where the interconnection should not be maintained: “The RER B management tells us that it has tried everything to avoid but between the very high number of strikers and the agents who have the Covid, no solution to maintain this interconnection.

Big mess likely.

Avoid if possible.

In addition to the lines, other routes will be disrupted.

On the RER C, one in four trains should be removed.

The RER D is not spared, with only seven out of ten trains circulating.

On Line H of the Transilien (Gare-du-Nord - Pontoise - Persan-Beaumont - Creil - Luzarches), here too one in four trains should be removed, with the Pontoise-Creil cross-section provided by buses.

The RER E is doing better with nine trains out of ten circulating.

For Lines J and L, the SNCF provides an “adapted normal service”.

On the other lines and on the RATP network, no disruption is announced.

Information deemed too late

SNCF agents are asking for an increase in their salary and an improvement in working conditions.

They point in particular to “chronic understaffing, growing malaise at work as well as a reorganization project which will be accompanied by numerous job cuts”.

“Faced with this, we demand the necessary means to work well, in good conditions, to ensure production and, more broadly, the public rail service expected by users”, we detail at Sud Rail.

Although passenger traffic has fallen sharply since the start of the year, it is stabilizing at around 60% of the pre-Covid normal.

In addition to the reduced offer, travelers have to deal with SNCF lines disrupted by the lack of staff, to which are added social movements, as in last December.

The Plus de trains association regrets that, in this case, the details of the disruptions are communicated less than 24 hours in advance.

“The law on guaranteed service requires SNCF that the timetables for the strike tomorrow Thursday be available the day before, recalls Plus de trains.

We are the day before and the information is not available regretted this Wednesday morning the association.

Going to the app, we don't know if it takes the strike into account or not.
